He brings to the bench first-hand knowledge of the environmental and toxic tort industries. Tunde also obtained a Master's degree in Health Care Policy and Administration from Mercer University, a business degree with an emphasis on the health care industry. Tunde later obtained his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 2000, embarking on his second professional career. Experienced

Experienced
Tunde has always demonstrated the sort of temperament necessary to be on the bench. He began his law career in the courtroom of the Hon. Edward E. Carriere, where he handled a variety of cases, including, domestic violence, drugs, theft and DUI/DWI cases. Tunde has always supported fairness in the system. He believes that each case should be evaluated on its own merit rather than a one-glove-fits-all approach. As an Assistant District Attorney, he has prosecuted the serious drug trafficking crimes, domestic violence cases, sexual assault and child molestations cases, and murder cases. While Tunde has forcefully prosecuted serious crimes, he believes there are cases in which a diversion program may be more approriate. He has participated in diversion programs where all sides are satisfied, placing a case on hold with an emphasis on seeking justice for the victim. He will be a DeKalb State Court Judge with a demonstrated belief in justice for all.
